Dr. Ali Fizi​, Chiropractor and the owner of igood Health Centre

Dr. Fizi is a chiropractor and the owner of igood Health Centre. He started his professional career as a lawyer after achieving his master’s degree in law from Iran while he was a professional decathlon athlete and was competing as an Asian Olympic athlete and a member of the national track and field team simultaneously.

His hard work, dedication, and commitment to the decathlon fetched him 121 national gold and 22 international gold and silver medals. He also was a national and West Asian record holder in the decathlon for 12 consecutive years.

Dr. Fizi is also a diploma holder in the world’s highest sports strength and conditioning education program and has worked as a sports strength and conditioning coach for various teams including basketball, ice and roller skating, and wushu at their national and international level.

Being a professional athlete, and having associated with various sports for almost 25 years, he has witnessed different sports injuries in either training sessions or competitions. This motivated Dr. Fizi to pursue his passion for further education at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College to be able to help people by preventing and treating further injuries.

Today, he is an active member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA), Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA), and the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO). 

As a chiropractor and a former professional athlete, Dr. Fizi has a solid understanding of how the human body functions including but not limited to the skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. He believes in client-centered care and providing evidence-based treatments by using various therapy techniques, including mobilizations, spinal manipulation therapy also known as adjustment, active release techniques, spinal decompression therapy, and shockwave therapy. He has a special interest in progressive rehabilitation programs for high-performance and elite athletes.
